A letter FROM us to you

I’ve been sitting with this feeling for weeks now. That quiet, warm kind of gratitude that hits you only after the year slows, after you finally take a breath, after you zoom out and realize… wow

This year was big. Messy. Beautiful. Unforgiving. Transformative. Exhausting in the way anything good always is. And as we close it out, I wanted to write something directly from me, from us, to the people who made it what it was.

To our team: I don’t even know where to start. You’ve shown up with full hearts and sharp minds, through the long days, longer nights, the pivots, the rebuilds, the launches, the “Are we insane for trying this?” moments, and the “Holy shit, this is working” moments. You believed in this mission on the hardest days, not just when it was exciting or glamorous. You took an idea that lived inside our heads and turned it into something people can touch, walk through, experience, and belong to. You’ve given pieces of your talent, time, and soul to build something that didn’t exist before, and it shows in every single corner.

Thank you. Thank you for every coffee-fuelled brainstorm, every last-minute email, every Slack message at 10pm you didn’t have to send but did because you cared. Thank you for holding us up when we were tired, for challenging us, for grounding us. Founders only dream of teams like this. Most never get one. We did. And we don’t take that lightly. We quite literally would not be here without you. And no words could ever convene our gratitude to and for you.

To our community: You’re the reason we do any of this. You let us into some of the most intimate parts of your human experience, and your need for real connection in a world that feels increasingly disconnected. Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for downloading the app, for the texts to friends that started with “You have to try this,” for showing up to events, sending long DMs, celebrating our wins, holding us accountable, and believing that there must be a better way to meet, to gather, to connect, to live. You’re not just users to us, you’re the heart of this entire thing. You’ve made us feel so deeply understood in this mission that sometimes it hurts, in the best way. Every feature we designed, every risk we took… it was all done with you in mind. So yes, we built this for you, but also because of you.

And to the year ahead: We know how many things had to go right, and wrong, for us to end this year still standing, still building, still believing. And we don’t take lightly what we get to do next.

We’re stepping into 2026 knowing connection is the priority. The mission. A cultural correction. The world is overrun with ways to talk at each other. What’s missing are the places and tools that make it easy to actually be with each other. That’s the gap we’re here to fill. We’re committed to building something that actually gets people off their phones and back in front of each other. To make plans easier so showing up feels more human. To reward people for doing what we’ve all been craving, which is just being together.

Thank you, truly, for the year we just had. It was foundational. Formational. Transformational. And just the beginning.

Here’s to everything coming next. And, here’s to building it together.

With a very full heart,
Hannah (and Joe) x
